2009 Bourgeois Very Vintage Mahogany D dreadnought in pristine condition.

This guitar has been exceptionally well cared for and is structurally and cosmetically excellent. No cracks, no repairs, no dings. Includes the original hardshell case and original Pantheon/Bourgeois paperwork with matching serial numbers.

This is a lightly built, hide-glue Bourgeois from the highly regarded “Very Vintage” series, built during a particularly admired era of the Lewiston, Maine shop. The guitar has an immediate, responsive feel with outstanding clarity, balance, and note separation.

Tonally, it’s everything people look for in an Adirondack/mahogany Bourgeois: dry and articulate, but warm. The bass is full without overpowering the mids, and the trebles ring clear and true with excellent headroom and sustain. Fingerstyle and flatpicking both sound equally at home here.

The guitar is fitted with a professionally installed L.R. Baggs Element pickup system with internal battery pouch and soundhole-mounted volume control.
