This Spector bass is a bit of a mystery when it comes to tracing its origin- my quick research shows that this most likely is a NS2000 but every NS2000 bass has a stamp on the back of the headstock saying made in Korea. This one looks different and has no stamp where it’s made. Additionally this bass was a part of a collection I purchased from an elderly pro bass player and all of his other basses were high end USA made ones. I just don’t see why would he own this bass if not USA made. He maintains that this one is also USA made but I can’t find anything that indicated that.

So I am pricing it as if it were a cheap one, if there are a few experts out there, please let me know what you think or buy it- it may be a bargain in disquise.
