Sterling by Musicman Albert Lee Model

Very funky, compact and lightweight guitar designed by Musicman in collaboration with country-guitar wunderkind Albert Lee... though capable of much more than country music, by virtue of its twin humbuckers with 5-way switching, and Strat-style trem.

This guitar is all original, except for a couple of cosmetic upgrades I made:

• The original pickguard was a "muddy", cheap-looking tortoiseshell, with (inexplicably!) a white backplate! So I replaced both with a more vibrant and deep torty. The original plates are included should you want them for some reason. ;-)
• The original black knobs and switch tip have been replaced with white ones, for a more vintage look. (I don't have those original black plastic parts anymore).

Weight: 7lbs 10z

I had previously fitted a Hipshot Drop-D tuner to this guitar, so there is a screw hole and finish fading visible on the back of the headstock from that (see photos).

Other than that the condition is excellent. A few scuff marks on some of the chrome parts, and a small lacquer-crack at the neck pocket are shown in the photos.

I believe this model is discontinued by Musicman, so Used is the only way to get one!

A basic gig bag will be included in the sale, along with the original pickguard and backplate.
