Here I am offering my Fender Stratocaster ST62-70 from the late JV series (Made in Japan 1984).

This guitar is structurally identical to the ST62-65 model. It features an alder body with a poly finish, a maple neck with a 7.25" slab rosewood fretboard, Kluson-style vintage tuners, Fullerton USA "Black Bobbin" pickups, Japanese potentiometers, and a DM-50 5-way switch.

Considering its age, the guitar is in excellent cosmetic condition, showing only minor signs of wear. The neck is straight, and the truss rod is fully functional. The frets remain in very good playing condition, exhibiting only slight signs of use. The electronics work flawlessly—though the switch occasionally requires a little coaxing.

The neck features the ideal "Medium C" profile - neither too thick nor too thin. Sonically, it is mid-focused and powerful.

All in all, this is a fantastic '62 Reissue Stratocaster that plays beautifully and is an absolute joy to own.

Will be shipped neck bolt-off.
