This 2012 Fender Custom Shop Paul Waller Masterbuilt '69 Rosewood Esquire NOS is basically what happens when a Telecaster decides regular wood is beneath it. The entire guitar looks like it was carved out of a billionaire’s cigar lounge. It doesn’t scream for attention… it just silently judges every other guitar in the room for being made out of “common people trees.”

And let’s address the elephant in the room: this thing is an ESQUIRE. One pickup. One mission. No distractions. No neck pickup for jazz noodling while discussing herbal tea and cable capacitance. This guitar wakes up every morning, drinks black coffee, and says, “bridge pickup is enough.”

The grain on this one is absolutely ridiculous. It looks less like a guitar and more like somebody shrunk down a vintage Rolls Royce dashboard and installed strings on it. Meanwhile, the chambered rosewood body keeps the weight reasonable enough that your chiropractor won’t immediately send you a Christmas card.

And then there’s the Paul Waller Masterbuilt factor. This wasn’t slapped together on a busy Tuesday afternoon while somebody microwaved leftover burritos in the Fender break room. This was crafted by one of Fender’s top builders with the kind of attention normally reserved for Swiss watches and suspiciously expensive sushi.

Return Policy- 

We do accept returns up to 14 days from the point of the initial sale, which means that the guitar must be back in our possession within this 14 day period. However, please be aware of the following conditions: If for any reason you wish to return the guitar, just call or email me directly, within 24 hours of your receiving the item, and let me know that you want to return it. Once we receive the guitar back, in the same condition, you will receive a refund, less a $50 restock fee.
