PRS CE24 1988 #82 1st year unstamped pickups Near mint W/OHSC metal plaque & Case candy Pre-factory! This is a holy-grail-caliber guitar and likely highly collectable.

Super rare (especially for Canada) PRS offering! a first year PRS CE24; #82. The guitar has the original hi grade case with the metal PRS plaque glued to the case, its not a sticker, its a metal plaque.
TOTALLY unique and amazing vibe with this guitar!
The case candy as pictured is all included! Original as it was when bought. The case is also in near mint condition. When age factors in....most would consider guitar and case as being "very" minty!

The guitar plays and sounds like no other! The pickups are the unstamped HOLY GRAIL! pickups! These are HOT! lots of output and super defined with unique tone with mounds of sustain; very unique tonal balance; hence their legendary "unstamped" original pickups ethos.

Of course the fretboard is a beautiful and highly resonant Brazilian rosewood!,

The only imperfection is a small amount of finish missing on the neck near fret 5 please see pic. There are few MINOR (very minor) scuffs. very very light belt rash...you have to hold guitar up to light to see them. They would not come out in pic. For an almost 40 year old Vintage guitar...I would be VERY surprised to see one as clean as this. It's all original without any mods whatsoever.

I am still uncomfortable, and somewhat reluctant, selling this guitar as I thought I would keep it forever. It is THAT good a guitar. Moreover, it exudes why PRS became, and remains, one of the best and most respected builders ever. It feels VERY unique. Its a very different feel from late 90's CE. Sounds very different as well. However, I need to thin the herd for several reasons.

This, as with other early PRS, could very well become the reference-product for what PRS developed into. Certainly collector-grade.

Since I have it listed locally on Kijiji, I may end listing early if sold locally.

Thanks for dropping by, thanks for your interest,
