From The Manufacture Website:

Hand-crafted in China according to centuries-old traditions, the Wuhan® China is the standard by which all other China type cymbals are measured. This is the cymbal that started it all for Wuhan® Cymbals and Gongs. The unmistakable dark, trashy and explosive characteristics of the Wuhan® China makes it the first choice of top drummers from every genre of music. Commonly referred to as the “Lion China” because of its sonic roar. The iconic Wuhan® China can be mounted in either direction.
