Up for sale is a very special PRS Custom with Floyd Rose tremolo, featuring a beautiful dark charcoal / black flame maple top, bird inlays, figured maple neck and a very collectible detail: the guitar is signed by Paul Reed Smith on the back of the headstock.
This instrument has a striking and elegant appearance.
The dark transparent finish highlights the flame maple figuring beautifully, shifting under the light from deep black to smoky charcoal grey. Combined with the PRS body shape, bird inlays and Floyd Rose bridge, it has a perfect mix of class, aggression and modern performance.
The back of the headstock carries the handwritten serial / production number 14 (2014) 213591, clearly visible in the photos, together with the signature on the rear of the headstock.
The guitar is equipped with a Floyd Rose tremolo system, making it ideal for players who need excellent tuning stability, expressive tremolo work and a more modern playing approach.
The two humbuckers provide a strong, articulate and musical tone, with plenty of power for rock and high-gain sounds while maintaining the clarity and definition PRS guitars are famous for.
