This Yamaha is used, but it's also had all around work up from a professional luthier. The frets have just been freshly leveled, its had a bone nut and compensated bone saddle installed to sound its absolute best and its been given a very low and comfortable setup free of buzzing. What you are getting with this instrument is a guitar free from the issues that often times plague student and mid range instruments and also sounds a good deal better than those instruments will, and will sound and play better than this instrument would have when new. Students would have a reliable instrument to learn on and more experienced players would have a beater that sounds and plays awesomely.

To be transparent there is a cosmetic ding in the heal that will not affect structural integrity or playability.
This guitar unfortunately does not come with a case.
