The H4 is EMG's best-selling passive humbucker for guitar. Combining the power of the active 81 with the soul of a Classic Humbucker, this pickup delivers a well-balanced tone with tight bass response, glassy mids, and crunchy highs. These tonal characteristics are achieved through over-wound coils loaded with ceramic bar magnets, fully shielded to minimize noise.

This high-output pickup excels in the bridge position, where it offers impressive range, responsiveness, and rich harmonics. If you're after a big rock or heavy modern guitar sound, the H4 is the pickup for you.

Make sure to check the instructions for pickup measurements before purchasing to compare your existing pickups with EMG models.

All EMG Pickups are built to order. Estimated shipping is between 7-14 business days.
