This is not your typical partscaster. This is a fully realized boutique Telecaster built on a Holy Grail Guitar Co body a Nashville-area builder making high quality instruments

The Body

The Holy Grail body is the centerpiece. Multi-piece wood construction with what outer wings and walnut or mahogany center stripes running the full length of the body. This is not a veneer or a finish trick this is actual exotic wood construction, the kind boutique body makers charge serious money for. The grain is stunning and the resonance reflects it. Unfinished natural wood, no paint, no lacquer hiding anything.

The Neck

the fretboard has stripping like zebrawood (could be?)on what appears to be a maple neck. Zebrawood is an exotic African hardwood with striking grain patterns and a bright, articulate tonal character. Brass nut for enhanced sustain and a distinctive feel under the strings. Gold locking tuners.

The Electronics

DiMarzio True Velvet in the neck. not sure what is in the bridge but it sounds great!

Wired’s with nice pots, an Orange Drop capacitor, and vintage style cloth covered wire throughout. This is boutique wiring done right. No corners cut anywhere in the signal chain.

The Hardware

Full gold hardware package. Gold ashtray bridge, gold control plate, gold locking tuners. Consistent and considered from end to end.

How It Plays and Sounds

It plays beautifully. The neck is comfortable and the setup is solid. Tonally it sits on the articulate end of the Telecaster spectrum the fretboard and body woods give it a clarity and note separation that a standard alder or ash Tele doesn’t quite have. The DiMarzios are voiced well for the platform.

Holy Grail Guitar Co stamp in the neck pocket. Nice pots. Orange Drop cap. Cloth wire. Gorgeous finderboard. Brass nut. Every single component was a deliberate upgrade choice by whoever built this. It is genuinely one of the most thoughtfully assembled Telecasters I’ve encountered at any price point.

I don’t play it enough to justify keeping it. It deserves someone who will play it every day. If that’s you, you’re getting something special.
