Gibson Les Paul Goldtop L.R. Baggs Piezo / EMG 85 Limited Run 2009
A Les Paul like no other—that much is certain. Only 350 of these extraordinary, limited-edition models were built. Here is number 104.
Made in the USA, year of manufacture: 2009.
The most striking feature here is the versatile pickup configuration: in addition to the two EMG 85 pickups, an active L.R. Baggs pickup system with a piezo bridge is installed.
Thanks to clever circuitry and two separate output jacks, both signals can be accessed either separately or blended seamlessly.
There are probably very few Les Paul models that offer compelling rock and acoustic sounds in a single instrument.
Mahogany body with arched maple top and Goldtop finish.
Also not quite common here is the three-piece maple neck (50s profile)—particularly popular with guitarists from the “hard ‘n’ heavy” scene.
Rosewood fingerboard (12" radius) with trapezoid inlays and 22 medium-jumbo frets.
Gold hardware, Grover tuners.
Comes as pictured in the original Gibson case, including a certificate and additional accessories.
Clean and well-maintained, in top condition with only minor signs of use or play—see photos.
