TK Audio BC1-THD Stereo Bus Compressor

Very cool and extremely underrated sonic sweetener and stereo bus compressor.

Includes original box and power cord.

Lightly used for approximately 1 year.

Probably don't have to say this but because pics include other nearby racked preamps, this listing is only for the TK Audio unit.

Description and Specs from the web:

The TK Audio BC1-THD is a 1U stereo VCA bus compressor designed for "smooth, transparent glue" on mix buses, featuring a specialized THD circuit for adding even-order harmonics, a "Grab" function for a harder threshold knee, and a built-in blend control for parallel compression. It provides flexible, stepped controls for recall, including switchable sidechain high-pass filters and extended attack/release times. [1, 2, 3, 4]Key Features & Description

• THD Function: Adds selectable "even" harmonic distortion for extra warmth and grit.
• Grab Function: Provides a harder, more aggressive threshold knee, moving beyond the standard transparent mode for more punch.
• Sidechain Filtering: Features three high-pass filter frequencies (80Hz, 150Hz, 220Hz) to prevent low-frequency content from triggering unwanted compression.
• Parallel Processing: Dedicated Blend control allows mixing between dry and compressed signals.
• Stepped Controls: All parameters are stepped for easy recall. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
