The NUX Steel Singer Drive is a boutique-style overdrive pedal from the Reissue Series, designed to capture the elusive and legendary "California Sound." Inspired by one of the most sought-after and expensive boutique amplifiers in history, this pedal provides a glassy, transparent overdrive with the iconic mid-range punch that has defined the tones of legendary blues and rock players.

Dynamic Tonal Character

The Steel Singer is not a typical high-gain distortion; instead, it excels at providing a "pushed" amp feel. It delivers a touch-sensitive response that cleans up beautifully when you roll back your guitar’s volume or lighten your pick attack. The pedal is engineered to preserve the natural character of your guitar and amp while adding a layer of rich harmonics and singing sustain.

Precision Controls

To help you dial in the perfect "D-style" tone, the pedal features a simple yet effective three-knob layout:

• Gain: Controls the amount of saturation, ranging from a clean boost to a thick, singing overdrive.
• Volume: Sets the overall output level, with plenty of headroom to push your tube amp into natural breakup.
• Filter: This unique control adjusts the mid-range emphasis and high-end sparkle, allowing you to tailor the pedal to different pickups and amplifiers without losing the core "Steel Singer" character.

Professional Build Quality

Housed in a rugged, die-cast metal enclosure, the Steel Singer Drive is built to withstand heavy touring. It features True Bypass switching, ensuring that your signal remains completely unaffected when the pedal is disengaged. The warm, analog circuitry provides a smooth, tube-like compression that makes lead lines stand out in any mix.

Key Features:

• Boutique Tonal Profile: Captures the legendary "D-style" overdrive and sustain.
• Pure Analog Circuit: Delivers warm, harmonic-rich saturation.
• True Bypass: Maintains your signal integrity when the effect is off.
• Versatile Filter: Quickly adapts the pedal's voicing to match your specific rig.

Whether you are looking for a subtle "always-on" boost to add body to your clean tone or a soaring lead voice for bluesy solos, the NUX Steel Singer Drive offers premium boutique performance in an accessible and reliable format.
