Vintage original 1957 Magnatone Custom 260 2 x 12" guitar amp.
A very sought after original Magnatone, featuring the true pitch shifting vibrato that made Magnatone famous.
These amps are known for their great clean tone and raw overdrive when pushed hard--perfect for stage or studio work. Overdrive is remarkably warm and full and organic sounding.
As famously used by Pete Townshend on Who's Next and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
This amp has been fully cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds fantastic.
An absolutely killer recording amp.
It is basically all original including the speakers, transformers, etc. The power chord has been changed to a 3-prong chord so no one gets shocked. Has some wear to the cabinet, some scratches on the side.
