• Condition: This is a fantastic mandolin that sounds great whether you are playing it acoustically or have it plugged in! The top shows play marks throughout, mainly located on the pickguard. There is a scrape in the finish on the treble side's lower bout near the edge, but the most notable blemish on this Mandolin is located on the very lower bout edge by the tailpiece where the Mandolin was obviously dropped. There is a ding on the top where the wood is lightly raised, and the side of the mandolin just next to this blemish is cracked. There is what appears to be adhesive residue atop this blemish, so it appears there was a repair job done, but hard to tell; I do know that currently this damage is not going anywhere and is well closed off so as not to affect tone. The rest of the sides and back look good with only light blemishes occasionally strewn about; there is some finish-level blemishes around the heel, this is not a full crack but the finish has dried out along the border so it appears that way (be sure to check out these photos). The neck is straight and smooth, the fretboard is clean and the frets are polished. The frets show light dips and play marks, mainly located in the first position frets, but there is still plenty of life and no chips or anything that would require repair. The headstock shows the usual scrapes and scratches towards the top edge, but overall looks very good with nothing I'd consider sign of abuse. Because this is a preowned vintage instrument with damage we are listing the item as "Good," but be sure to check out photos thoroughly before purchase!
