Rex Brown Down Concert Series Tour Used Ampeg SVT 810AV Stack

The combination of Ampeg and Rex Brown defined the Pantera and Down bass sound for almost two decades. Starting in 2002 - and getting ready for his first tour with Down - Rex acquired a new backline of Ampeg SVT amplifiers and speaker cabinets.

According to Rex; "After having used the PR-810H cabinets for a long time, I worked with Ampeg on a new design, which eventually became this SVT-810AV series. I wanted a new look and came up with this silver-grey mesh grill front, which they ended up using on later models as well. This too was a limited edition production run and these cabs are just as unique as the old backline cabinets".

This powerful SVT stack contain 8 boisterous 10 inch speaker that created a wall of sonic mayhem as experienced by legions of fans. The cab measures 48 x 26 x 16 inches. It weighs a whopping 140 Lbs. and is overall in good and working condition. It shows common wear from world-wide touring use, including some scuffing and damage to the Tolex. The cabinet has been signed by Rex on the back.
