This is a legitimate custom Suhr Modern, built to spec through Distinctive Guitar (Spec/Serial #77774). Original factory spec sheet is included. This is not a production guitar off a shelf – every detail was chosen at the time of order.
The Guitar:
Basswood body with a 2-piece plain maple top, satin black finish with white top binding and full arm, hand, and tummy contours. Roasted maple neck and fingerboard with a modern elliptical profile (.800-.850), compound 11”-16” radius, 24 stainless steel jumbo frets, and MOP face and side dots. Suhr locking tuners, 1.650” Tusq nut. Gotoh 510 2-post tremolo with recessed recess and Wilkinson locking saddles (added at build due to the recessed bridge). SSV neck pickup, SSH Plus bridge pickup, 5-way blade selector, volume and tone controls. Comes with the Suhr Deluxe Gig Bag and case candy.
About the hardware:
The guitar ships with the original chrome hardware kit, which is included in the sale. I personally ordered black hardware direct from Suhr as a preference and I installed it and I set the guitar up to play buttery smooth you will be getting the original chrome hardware to either install or sell.
Condition:
With any matte-finish guitar, it is completely normal to develop a light gloss where your palm and forearm make contact – this guitar has that, and it is purely cosmetic, inherent to the finish type. Otherwise the guitar is spotless.
Why selling:
I have a new custom Suhr currently in production. When it arrives, this one funds it. That’s the only reason it’s leaving.
