This is not built from a kit. It is however built off the Weber Revibe schematic and many of the parts are from Weber. I built this about 3 months ago. The chassis was originally used for a different project hence the extra holes. It’s an all tube spring reverb and harmonic tube vibrato (frequency modulating tremolo). It’s point to point wired, utilizes a 6k6 power tube and uses shielded cable as needed for noise free performance. It works flawlessly and sounds wonderful. A MOD, 3 spring long tank is used and is fastened to the top of the cabinet. There is no footswitchig of the reverb or tremolo. From right to left, front panel is IN, OUT, reverb TONE, MIX, DWELL, trem INTENSITY and trem SPEED. The cabinet is admittedly nothing special but it’s sturdy and functional. It’s pine, rounded over edges. The chassis and tank are fastened with industrial Velcro which may sound odd but it’s incredibly strong. By all means, if you have some diy wood skills... Despite it’s “rough around the edges” look, this unit will give you tones easily rivaling all the much slicker units. This is the real deal! The noise floor on this unit is on par with other tube reverb units i've played. which is to say there is faint white noise and the low level hum (not buzz) associated with any amp.
