Built in Kalamazoo, Michigan, at the legendary 225 Parsons Street factory, the Heritage Standard II Collection H-150 continues the American legacy of Heritage with significant improvements. This evolution of the original Standard series features premium tonewoods, upgraded appointments, and the signature sustain and character that define the H-150 model.
The Standard II Collection H-150 features a carved maple top with a genuine mahogany back, now with weight relief for improved playing comfort without sacrificing tonal richness. A new headstock veneer sporting the 'Heritage' logo adds to the aesthetic, while a '60s style neck profile offers a slim yet familiar grip for any player.
The guitar’s voice comes from the new Heritage Custom Shop 225 Standard Humbuckers, designed and wound entirely in-house. The neck pickup is built with 42 AWG plain enamel wire, and the bridge pickup with 43 AWG polyester wire, both on unlined butyrate bobbins with 2.5-inch roughcast Alnico 5 magnets. These pickups deliver a wide and expressive tonal range. Potted covers ensure feedback resistance at high volumes, and a modern series/parallel circuit via push/pull tone pots provides single-coil-like clarity- without the volume loss typical of a coil split.
