The serial number is “S758158” which dates it to 1977. The pots date to 1976 and the pickups have 1977 date codes. It has the original Mocha Brown finish and weighs in at a very comfortable 8 lbs 4 oz! Ones from this era are usually 9-10 lbs, so grab it before it floats away!

The body is in very good condition overall, but has some dings, scratches and worn areas. Nothing out of the ordinary for a vintage guitar and there are no cracks or structural issues.

The neck is straight and it’s in very good playing condition. The fretboard is clean and the back of the neck has some light wear but no major dings or gouges. The headstock has small nicks around the edges and some of the finish has flaked off of the back, but no cracks, repairs or extra holes. The nut is 1.62” wide, the neck measures 0.87” thick at the 1st fret and 0.99” thick at the 12th fret.

The hardware and electronics are original and in excellent working condition. The pickups measure 10.71 Ω. The original hardshell case is long gone but it comes in a very nice vintage one which is the same style as the original. The tolex covering has some light wear but is in excellent condition overall. The leather ends also have no major wear. All of the latches and hinges work as they should and the handle is firmly attached. The interior is clean and has no bad odors.

Please note that I do not set up my guitars before mailing. I have played it and everything is good as far as I'm concerned, but you may need to change the strings, adjust the action or do other maintenance to get it to your preferences.

I list some of my items on both eBay and Reverb. In the event that this item sells on both marketplaces before I can take the other listing down, I will honor the first sale and refund the second. There will be no exceptions to this!

Payment

Payment must be received within 4 days after I send the invoice. I am willing to work with you if you need more time, but I will cancel the order if I do not hear from you within 4 days! You will also be permanently blocked from purchasing my items in the future.

Combined Shipping

I can't combine shipping for more than one full sized guitar but can if you purchase smaller items such as parts or accessories. I can't quote exact rates until you purchase the items and I package them. So please wait for me to send a combined invoice if you buy more than one item. Local pickup is available for any item.

Offers & Package Deals

Please note that I do not consider offers! I will not end any listing early so please do not ask! Please don't ask for package deals on multiple items and I will not do any deals off of eBay. I will not respond to any questions asking for any of the above!

P.O. Boxes

I have blocked P.O. Boxes from this listing. FedEx and UPS do not ship to these addresses and USPS shipping is much more costly. I will ship to a P.O. Box if you contact me ahead of time and agree to pay for USPS instead of FedEx or UPS.

UPS Signature – Update Your Address!

Please note that you or someone at your address will have to sign for this guitar. If think you will not be home, you will need to change your address BEFORE you purchase it to where you will be (work, UPS Store, etc.) I mail my items through Reverb and it goes under their UPS account, so it is impossible to change the delivery address after I mail it. I will not refund any shipping cost that I’ve already paid if the item is sent back to me because you did not sign for it! So please plan ahead so you receive your item.
