The serial number is “S758158” which dates it to 1977. The pots date to 1976 and the pickups have 1977 date codes. It has the original Mocha Brown finish and weighs in at a very comfortable 8 lbs 4 oz! Ones from this era are usually 9-10 lbs, so grab it before it floats away!

The body is in very good condition overall, but has some dings, scratches and worn areas. Nothing out of the ordinary for a vintage guitar and there are no cracks or structural issues.

The neck is straight and it’s in very good playing condition. The fretboard is clean and the back of the neck has some light wear but no major dings or gouges. The headstock has small nicks around the edges and some of the finish has flaked off of the back, but no cracks, repairs or extra holes. The nut is 1.62” wide, the neck measures 0.87” thick at the 1st fret and 0.99” thick at the 12th fret.

The hardware and electronics are original and in excellent working condition. The pickups measure 10.71 Ω. The hardshell case is from 1979 and is really clean overall. The tolex covering has some light wear but is in excellent condition overall. The leather ends also have no major wear. All of the latches and hinges work as they should and the handle is firmly attached. The interior is clean and has no bad odors. The only issue is a crack on the inside of the pocket that has been repaired.

Please note that I do not set up my guitars before mailing. I have played it and everything is good as far as I'm concerned, but you may need to change the strings, adjust the action or do other maintenance to get it to your preferences.
