I know it looks like a walnut model, but is definitely a cherry that has faded. The back shows more of the cherry finish. The bass is mostly original. The switch has been reattached (see the extra screws). It doesn't seem to have the function it should. Back and middle positions sound the same (though good), and the forward position is very weak. Bottom point on the pickguard has broken off. Nice finish checking, dings and scratches from years of play. Comfortable neck. Set up with flatwounds. Original case has seen better days--it holds the bass but there is some separation on the bottom as shown. Super cool vintage Gibby bass!
