The Martin SC-10E Modern Sapele represents a bold step forward in acoustic guitar design, built for players who want traditional tone paired with modern, electric-inspired playability. Its revolutionary SC body shape and patented Sure Align neck system redefine what’s possible on an acoustic, offering unrestricted access to every fret without sacrificing Martin’s signature warmth and resonance. This is a guitar designed for musicians who move seamlessly between rhythm playing, lead lines, and expressive solo work.

Crafted entirely from solid sapele, the SC-10E delivers a warm, balanced voice with a pronounced midrange, clear trebles, and a smooth, focused low end. The Tone Tension X-bracing enhances projection and sustain while maintaining clarity across the fretboard, making this guitar equally at home in worship, pop, rock, singer-songwriter, and contemporary acoustic settings. Whether played acoustically or plugged in, the SC-10E responds with articulation and consistency.

The Low Profile Velocity neck feels instantly familiar to electric players, offering a fast, comfortable feel that encourages exploration beyond traditional acoustic boundaries. Martin’s E1 electronics with a built-in tuner make this guitar stage- and studio-ready, while the satin dark mahogany finish and diamond-and-square inlays give it a refined, modern aesthetic. The SC-10E Modern Sapele is built for players who expect comfort, innovation, and performance in one inspiring instrument. Available now at Haggerty’s Music.
