This cymbal was signed by Virgil Donati, a world known Australian drummer who collaborated with the Doobie Brothers. Donati founded the band Planet X and has also played with Melissa Ethridge and Branford Marsalis
Donati is called “ one of the most technically advanced players of all times”. He collaborated with Sabian in producing the “bright, powerful and complex sound” of the Sabian Saturation Crash.
This crash is thought to be part of a drum set once owned by the Doobie Brothers.
