Juno-106 Restored by Roland Japan 2016 with Kiwi upgrade.

This is the Juno-106 you want! I would never normally sell this, but a family emergency has made it necessary for me to part with some of my prize vintage synthesizers.

The successor to the Roland Juno-60 ("one of the most important synthesizers in popular music"), the Roland Juno-106 is a six-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer released in Japan in 1984, during the "Golden Era" of Japanese audio equipment. This synthesizer features classic, sought-after sounds that not only defined a generation of synthesizer-based music in the 1980s but also continue to leave their mark in the modern era. The Juno-106 has been used by Daft Punk, Vangelis, Tame Impala, Justice, and more. This has an original date of 3/21/96 inside. It was restored and calibrated by Roland in Japan in 2016. It includes all new voice chips and a new BBD chip for the chorus unit. It has also been professionally upgraded with the Kiwi CPU board, including the custom overlay. The Kiwitechnics Kiwi-106 is a comprehensive hardware upgrade for the Roland Juno-106 that replaces the original CPU with a modern board, unlocking expanded synthesis features while preserving the analog signal path. It expands the synth's capabilities with second LFOs/envelopes, an arpeggiator, and 512 patch storage slots, making it similar to a "Jupiter-4" in functionality.

This Synthesizer is in Excellent condition and shows some signs of age, including few scratches and scuffs which are not easy to see (please see photos). This Juno-106 has been cleaned and tested by our professional technician and is working perfectly. All keys, buttons, and lights are working perfectly, and the display is fully intact and easy to read.
