Introducing the second offering of our exploratory, new Fusion Series: Foxcatcher!

While taking inspiration from our original award-winning overdrive, we’ve incorporated a new and exciting twist to this familiar favorite! We removed the original clipping diodes from the circuit entirely and replaced them two different types of clipping devices accessible via a toggle switch. The silicon position (SI) sports four MOSFET transistors configured to act as clipping diodes, which gives the drive a more aggressive sound. The germanium position (GE) implements four Ukrainian-made, germanium diodes for a more compressed and smooth timbre. Fusion Series Foxcatcher also boasts a wider tone sweep and additional volume output.

The idea behind the Fusion Series is to explore alternative sonic possibilities from our existing lineup. It retains some familiar CopperSound design themes while implementing a variety of unused aesthetics.
