Look at this weird thing. I think the idea was to have an acoustic that you could actually play at loud or high volumes or just plug and play into the PA. With little feedback as possible probably. Its a pretty dam good idea but its execution is not so hot. It just doesn't play that well or sound that great as a acoustic guitar. Its kind of CLINKY (thin sounding) to me. I think and expert luthier could improve its acoustical tone as most of the binding is missing - so sound is probably sepping out its sides!. Plugged in this thing totally rocks but its intonation is funky and could use a set up.

If you are looking for an interesting semi acoustic guitar tone thing that will give you some different tones and such and sounds on your recording- this baby is it. Its got a good weight to it. That bowl back is all mahogany wood not ovation #)%& plastic or whatever. The neck looks like a MIJ teisco something or other. It is solid maple though so not cheap wood. Could be home made too. Very rare pick up and tuners tho, probably got for 250 each!
