Vintage 50s or 60s Kay Cutaway Archtop Guitar With Vintage Lined Chip board {thin walls} type case.
Not sure of the exact model, have seen similar guitars that were listed as K 11, please do your own research. 17 1/4" wide Solid spruce top, arched or pressed {not carved}. Maple back and sides. I think the neck is also maple but not 100 percent sure?
Plays nice. Currently 12-48 gauge strings that could use changing. Has a nice sound with good volume and projection.
Distance from fret board to bottom of low E string at 12th fret is 3.5 MM. High E is 3 MM at 12th fret {3 MM is @ 1/8th"}. Neck depth at 1st fret is @ .865 and at 9th fret is @ .985. Nut width is 1.670. Scale is 25 7/8". Height of top of Low E off top at bridge is @ 3/4"
The vintage case has four latches. Case needs re stitched on part of the top seam, but is functional now, if you take care when handling.
Pick guard and pick guard bracket are non original. There is some finish damage on the top a few inches above the bridge below high e string side where someone got a little carried away with their picking method. Please see pics for overall cosmetic condition.
