Original 1919 C.F. Martin Style B mandolin (serial #6903), built in Nazareth, PA during Martin’s early mandolin production period.
This instrument is in excellent condition for its age (over 100 years old) and has been well cared for. I originally acquired it in 2021 from Frederick W. Oster Fine Violins, a respected vintage instrument dealer in Philadelphia. It was refretted by a certified Martin technician shortly after purchase and frets show no noticeable wear. It retains its original character, tone, and hardware, and is a great example of a clean, unmodified Style B.
