1959 Fender Bandmaster (5E7) in highly original condition.
I purchased this amp from the original owner’s family, and it has remained remarkably well preserved. To the best of my knowledge and inspection, it has not been modified or serviced and retains its original components throughout.
Details:
- Original transformers
- Original Jensen P10R speakers (EIA 220941 – 41st week of 1959)
- Original Astron capacitors
- Original filter capacitors still present
- Clean, untouched solder joints and correct lead dress
- Original tweed covering in excellent condition with light, honest wear
- Original tube chart present
- One preamp tube shield missing, otherwise complete
The amp was carefully brought up on a variac to confirm basic functionality, but I have otherwise left it in its original state.
This is a very clean example for its age and a great fit for someone looking for a truly original late-’50s tweed Bandmaster.
I’m happy to provide additional photos or answer any questions.
