Overview: This is a nicely-made, even-keeled instrument that has just the right amount of mwah in the lower mids to make it a good double-stop fiddler. It's a bit beat-up and lived-in but it's also super pretty with its one-piece, heavily-flamed back and figure extending all over the sides and neck. It has attractive, darkened edges on the scroll as well and the top is tightly-grained spruce. Manny put a bunch of time into getting this one back in order and it was well worth the effort -- this is quite a good instrument.

Repairs included: Manny repaired a broken neckblock and side damage near it, reset the neck and pinned it with a dowel (the joint is fairly shallow) as well, repaired hairline cracks on the top, various loose seams, planed the fingerboard, fit a new bridge, tail, and chinrest, and set it all up. It's playing spot-on and ready for service.
