L'M231 TRS Split + Tap è un pedale che permette di splittare il segnale della chitarra per mandarlo a due amplificatori o a due apparecchiature differenti. Grazie a un ingresso TRS e a uscite Left e Right, tutti passivi, è possibile dividere il segnale TRS in segnali mono L/R o combinare percorsi stereo L/R in un percorso TRS. Inoltre, l'M231 può essere utilizzato come tap tempo esterno per altri pedali o cambiarne i parametri grazie al footswitch integrato.
