This listing is for an all original, very fine, Gibson 175D single cut away. Incredible patina. The frets are in fine condition, and the inlays are all original and tight in the Brazilian fretboard. Untouched solder joints, original Brazilian rosewood bridge assembly, and all original tuners as well. The action is low and fast, and the original Pat sticker pickups sound warm and articulate. Vintage checking throughout the finish, no cracks in the instrument, and no overspray. This instrument comes with the original case shown in the photos. Even the back of the neck is without flaws or wear from playing. This instrument has an orange label, ”non Union” sticker dating it pre-1965, but the headstock is a “No dot i” making it a ‘69. All of the other appointments in addition to the decal… the tailpiece style, the knobs, the bridge assembly, and the color make this guitar look like a pre-1965. They are all original parts to the Guitar. And, the serial number also dates to 1965 or ‘69. But with the no dot i, this is a 1969.
