Neve 33416 Line Amplifier #20440/K (Vintage)

The Neve 33416 is a vintage Class AB line amplifier module designed primarily for signal conditioning and level management within classic Neve broadcast and recording consoles. Built during the 1970s and early 1980s, it follows Neve’s transformer-balanced design approach, using Marinair/St. Ives–style input and output transformers to deliver the brand’s signature headroom and low-noise performance. The 33416 was typically employed to boost or buffer program material between console sections, such as summing busses, routing matrices, or output stages—making it an essential utility module in larger Neve systems. Its robust construction and classic Neve topology make it a sought-after component for engineers looking to capture authentic vintage console tone in modern setups.
