This is arguably the most versatile amp Peavey ever made.
It currently has EL34's, and it also comes with a set of KT77's (which I actually prefer).
I'm sending a multitude of preamp tubes to try out, but I prefer 12AX7's in the driver and phase inverter and hybrid 12DW7's in the gain and active EQ spots to reduce the gain a bit in the orange and red channels. There's still plenty of gain, but it's less fizzy at lower volumes.
