For the SR Standard, Ibanez spec’d its supremely playable SR4 5-piece roasted maple/walnut neck. This time-honored profile is optimized for laser-focused expression and exceptional versatility, offering effortless mobility up and down the fingerboard with unfettered upper-fret access. The nut width is thinner than what you'll find on most bass necks, which further aids the comfort factor. A split-coil in a soapbox casing, the Big Break pickups from Nordstrand deliver full-bodied tone, distinct clarity, and noiseless performance. In addition, you have the potent sound-shaping capabilities of Ibanez’s Custom Electronics 3-band EQ. The EQ gives you control over boost/cut for bass, mid, and high frequencies, plus a mid-frequency switch to fine-tune your midrange and an EQ bypass.
