We’ve just received a great deal on a used model manufactured around 2021.

The current list price for a new model is ¥407,000.

Since the debut of the SG175 in 1974 and the SG2000 in 1976,

the Yamaha SG series has been Japan’s flagship electric guitar, making its mark both domestically and internationally.

From Carlos Santana, who was involved in its development, to big stars like Masayoshi Takano,

the SG series has been their instrument of choice.

Then, in 2010, while honoring the legacy of the SG series,

Yamaha released a new SG model tailored to the current music scene—

that is the SG1800 series we have in stock now.

It consists of the SG1820, equipped with two humbucking pickups,

and the SG1802, equipped with two P-90 pickups.

The high-quality craftsmanship cultivated over many years at Yamaha’s domestic factories is truly impressive.

The meticulous attention to detail, such as the finish on the fretboard,

ensures that even long playing sessions remain comfortable.

The pickups are S. Duncan 59s,

which have earned a solid reputation among musicians both in Japan and abroad.

From delicate clean tones to edgy drive sounds,

this guitar offers a wide range of versatility—truly a musician’s dream.

When it arrived at our store, the neck was broken.

We took the time to have it repaired by a specialist workshop,

along with other setup adjustments.

There is still plenty of life left in the frets and nut height,

and thanks to the repair, it plays exceptionally well.

While there are some signs of use, such as scratches and minor dents,

this is an excellent value.
