Yamaha - 8x14" Yamaha 100 Year Anniversary (1887-1987) Carbon Custom Special No. 122 1987

Here's another insanely rare snare drum from the collection of Modern Drummer Magazine CEO, David Frangioni.

The Yamaha (SD-518) 8x14 "big boy" Carbon Custom snare was released to commemorate Yamaha’s 100th anniversary (1887–1987), and part of Yamaha’s high-end experimental / boutique-era builds. Carbon fiber shell. A true limited production rarity.

This snare is extremely rigid and lightweight, with high projection. The carbon fiber shell gives it a really quick, focused response, but the 8" depth brings in some serious body behind it.

The drum is in exceptional condition with no notable issues.

Includes a DW Hard Case.
