I will be honest, I have dropped the price from original as to a little above what I have been offered by second hand dealers as I need to sell before relocating. .I am not a Guitar expert, and have sought advice from experts to list this, This is an early 1980s customer made model according to serial number 9676 (most likely 1980/81) Shergold Masquerader Custom in the rarer Wine Red finish that is seldom seen! This was inherited from a music friend. This one is in original condition throughout and cosmetically in fairly good condition with some scuffs and scrapes on the lower back of the guitar that seems consistant with a guitar stand that may have been in poor shape. I asked the expert to test it, and for this we need to purchase a new cable and Irig adaptor which is included. The unit played fine, and was tuned. Included is a case, a little old and batter, but solid and hold the guitar and accessories perfectly. In addition to the cable and Irig adaptor (used for Garage Band) there a quite a few picks, a vintage wrap around capo and a shoulder strap (this appears quite old, and although strong, may need replacing). I am selling this as I am relocating.
