PRS McCarty 594 Mango Top Limited Edition Electric Guitar - Black Gold Burst | No Limit Guitar Co, Idaho Falls

This Limited Edition PRS McCarty 594 electric guitar is an exotic reimagining of one of PRS's most celebrated vintage-voiced instruments, available now at No Limit Guitar Co in Idaho Falls. Anchored by a mahogany body topped with a strikingly figured mango cap, it delivers the warm, harmonically rich tone McCarty 594s are beloved for — wrapped in a visual package that commands attention on any stage. Whether you're a seasoned professional or a serious intermediate player ready to invest in a truly exceptional instrument, this guitar represents the pinnacle of modern American lutherie.

Product Overview

The McCarty 594 Limited Edition is built on a solid mahogany double-cutaway body finished in high gloss nitro, capped with a highly figured mango top in a stunning Black Gold Burst with natural binding. The nitro finish allows the wood to breathe and resonate naturally, enhancing the guitar's organic response over time. Every detail of the construction reflects PRS's commitment to blending vintage sensibility with modern precision.

The mahogany Pattern Thin neck is carved to PRS's time-tested neck profile — comfortable, fast, and familiar — and is joined to the body via a set neck joint for enhanced resonance and sustain. The 24.594" scale length, a nod to vintage Gibson-style dimensions, delivers that characteristically warm, full response in the low end with smooth, buttery upper register tones. A 10" radius ziricote fingerboard with Old School Bird inlays adds an exotic visual and tactile element to an already remarkable instrument.

Electronically, the McCarty 594 is equipped with dual PRS McCarty III humbuckers — designed to faithfully capture the guitar's unplugged acoustic voice and translate it through any amplifier with vintage warmth and articulate clarity. Push-pull volume and tone controls unlock split-coil functionality, dramatically expanding the guitar's tonal range from full, thick humbucker output to snappy, single-coil clarity.

Key Features

Figured Mango Top The highly figured mango cap is the visual centerpiece of this limited edition build, offering a warm, golden grain pattern beneath the Black Gold Burst nitro finish. No two mango tops are alike, making each guitar a one-of-a-kind instrument.

McCarty III Humbuckers PRS McCarty III pickups are voiced to capture the natural resonance of the mahogany and mango tonewoods, delivering vintage-inspired warmth, rich harmonic content, and articulate note separation. Push-pull coil-splitting adds versatile single-coil tones without sacrificing the full humbucker output players rely on.

Ziricote Fingerboard The exotic ziricote fingerboard offers a striking striped grain pattern and a playing feel that sits between the smoothness of rosewood and the brightness of ebony. Its 10" radius provides comfortable chord work and smooth lead playing across all 22 frets.

PRS Two-Piece Bridge & Phase III Tuners The PRS two-piece wraparound bridge maximizes string-to-body contact for enhanced sustain and resonance. Paired with PRS Phase III non-locking tuners, this guitar maintains rock-solid tuning stability through even the most demanding performances.

High Gloss Nitro Finish Unlike thick polyester finishes, the high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer applied to both the body and neck allows the wood to vibrate more freely, contributing to the guitar's lively, resonant acoustic character — a detail that becomes increasingly appreciated over years of playing.
