Personal Thoughts:
The JP15 already sits at the top of the modern-prog mountain, but the Purple Nebula finish pushes it into true collector territory. Under lighting the burst shifts between deep violet, blue and almost star-field iridescence — it’s one of those guitars that looks “alive” as you move it.

Ernie Ball’s roasted maple necks are still among the absolute best in the business: super-stable, slick, perfectly rounded, and insanely comfortable. Combine that with 24 stainless frets and the ultra-flat 17" radius and you get a neck that encourages ridiculous speed without ever feeling clinical.

Tonally you have everything from brutally tight prog riffing to warm cleans thanks to the Illuminators, and of course the full piezo system which turns this into a studio monster. You can literally track an album with just this one guitar.
