Altec Lansing Carmel 838 A Pair (16ohm)

Outstanding sounding speakers (bottom cabinets). Top cabinets are not available. Both are very clean inside. They can be seen and heard in this youtube video.

2x12's and a horn with attenuator in each box. All original parts inside and original solder intact. These are very special sounding speakers. Original grill cloth was professionally replaced with a dark blue cloth and they were mounted on casters to stand upright. The veneer has some checking and marks. I am the third owner. These have always been kept in a climate controlled environment. The original owner bought them new in Houston, passed them onto his niece who had them for 20 years, and I bought them from her.
