Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 30th Anniversary Eric Clapton Stratocaster

The Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 30th Anniversary Eric Clapton Stratocaster, masterbuilt by Todd Krause, is an ultra-rare tribute released in 2018 to commemorate 30 years of the Clapton Signature Strat—one of the first artist models ever produced. Built in a strictly limited run of just 30 instruments worldwide, each guitar represents a direct continuation of Clapton’s famed “Blackie” lineage, crafted by the same luthier responsible for his personal instruments.

This model faithfully captures Clapton’s preferred specifications, including a select alder body, a one-piece quartersawn maple neck with his signature Soft “V” profile, and vintage-inspired appointments enhanced by modern electronics such as Vintage Noiseless pickups, a TBX tone circuit, and a powerful 25dB mid-boost system. Finished in a Journeyman Relic treatment for a lightly aged look and feel, it combines vintage character with precision craftsmanship, complete with Clapton’s signature, commemorative details, and a certificate of authenticity. The result is a top-tier Masterbuilt instrument—valued as much for its playability as for its rarity and direct connection to Clapton’s enduring legacy.

The guitar is in excellent condition having been lightly played and properly stored. It comes with Certificate of Authenticity, case candy and original hardshell case. This is a used guitar sold "As Described".   This is a highly collectible, ultra-low-production model tied directly to Eric Clapton’s legendary “Blackie” Strat.
