Up for sale is a museum-grade 1989 Warwick Streamer Stage II, hand-built in West Germany. As a "Bozo Era" instrument, it represents the absolute peak of boutique craftsmanship that put Warwick on the map. This bass features the legendary combination of a solid Afzelia body and a Wenge/Afzelia neck-through construction, offering a tonal depth and sustain that modern mass-produced instruments simply cannot reach.

TONE & ELECTRONICS (100% Original) This unit is strictly factory-original. It comes equipped with the original Bartolini J/J pickup and 2-band active electronics.

The Sound: Renowned for the "Woody Growl," this bass provides focused low-mids, shimmering highs, and an aggressive punch that sits perfectly in any professional mix.

Functionality: All pots, switches, and the preamp function perfectly functional.

ELITE CONSTRUCTION & WOODS

Body: Solid Afzelia (3-piece). This wood is incredibly dense and resonant, known for its sustain and articulate response.

Neck: 7-piece Wenge/Afzelia laminate with Warwick’s world-famous Hidden Neck-through joint—giving the front of the bass a seamless, elegant appearance.

Fretboard: Wenge fingerboard featuring the classic Yin-Yang inlays.

Hardware: Features the original solid brass 2-piece bridge and the 1st-generation Brass Just-A-Nut (JAN I), allowing for precise individual string height adjustment at the nut.

CONDITION This bass is in extraordinary cosmetic shape for a 37-year-old instrument.

Exterior: No scratches and no dents. The edges and back are exceptionally clean.

Minor Note: There are a few small stain on the front of the body (please see close-up photos). Aside from this minor cosmetic character mark, the bass is virtually pristine.

Playability: The neck is rock-solid and the frets have plenty of life. It is currently set up with low, fast action.
