I have a 2024 Gibson Victory here with its factory paperwork. It is matched with a newer era tweed Road Runner hard shell case that fits it nicely. This is a lightweight specimen weighing 6 lb 15 oz.

Conditionally, this guitar looks nice, showing just light signs of playwear.

The body top shows a minimal amount of guitar pick strumming on the plastic pickguard, and an even lesser amount of scattered superficial swirling on the body itself. I did not find any singular marks.

The body sides and edges show just light superficial signs of use, with a little bit of surface swirling, but I did not find any dings, chips, or indentation bumps.

The body back has a section in the lower right corner, about an inch squared, where I see some very light surface playwear. These are faint scratches that do not penetrate the finish, the mild type that you can see when you turn the guitar in the light to scrutinize it. There is no buckle rash or worming, and no penetrating finish scratches. Beyond that small section, there is a light scattering of superficial swirling and faint surface scratches here and there, but no clusters or patterns of playwear.

In the upper portion of the body back near the tummy cutaway area, I see some traces of interaction with sweat on the gloss finish. That commonly happens, especially on darker colors, where the shininess of the finish is slightly subdued from regular body contact. There is a little bit of that in the tummy contact area, and possibly a faint trace on the forearm area of the body top as well. Note that this is very superficial. You will mainly notice it when turning the guitar in the light, and it does not stand out in normal viewing. Overall, the body back still presents very well, with no heavy playwear or finish erosion.

The neck shaft contour looks and feels excellent, with nothing to report. The headstock likewise looks very clean. I did not find any chips or dings. The frets are tall and full, showing no fret wear, and no oxidation. They look great. The setup plays fantastic and feels nicely dialed in.

It is currently equipped with 11 gauge strings, and I have it tuned down one half step, which keeps the tension similar to 10 gauge strings in standard tuning. So if you want to switch string gauges or tuning, it should be an easy transition with little to no adjustment needed. The electronics are stock and working as they should. The hard shell case is in great shape as well and is a high quality case.

So I will rate this one an 8.9 out of 10 and grade it as very good. Consider it on the higher side of very good. Being a 2024 era guitar, it still has that newer, attractive look, with only light playwear mostly on the body back. Many would likely list it as excellent, but I will conservatively keep it at very good. It is structurally and sonically sound and plays beautifully.

This guitar is an interesting one in Gibson’s history. It was designed to compete with the powerful trend of shred-oriented super strat guitars that took off in the 1980s, and Gibson came up with a very solid design here.

It has a neck that is easier to play, especially in the upper frets, than a Les Paul, while still retaining the rock-solid tuning stability, sustain, and rich harmonic content that Gibson set-neck guitars are known for. It is essentially that Gibson feel and tone, but shaped more in the realm of a super strat. This latest version feels like a refined and well-executed evolution of that concept.

Note that this listing may come down at any time as I am a multi-platform seller and do sell locally and on my own Site as well in an effort to keep sales fluid. State sales tax will be charged on Reverb sales when applicable, so factor that into your purchase.

I will immaculately pack it as well. I use quality shipping boxes, ample tape on all sides. And sufficient bubble wrap filler and bracing inside the box. And always Marked/denoted as fragile. I generally detune guitars 1/2 half step prior to shipment as well if needed.

Thank you for reading and considering!
