I have a lawsuit MIJ El Degas Japan PBASS copy from I believe the 70s for sale. Prices for 70s MIJ basses similar to this are all over the place.
The pickup is the original pickup (which might be a DiMarzio?) and the stringa are a set of D’Addario halfwounds. It plays well, has lots of fret life left, and is super solid. Weighing 9lbs 11oz it isn't a lightweight bass but it's not a backbreaker either. It has a more aggressive biting sound then my other pbass. Feel free to ask me any questions about the bass.
