The Otari Status 18R is a vintage digitally-controlled analog inline mixing console from the mid-1990s. It’s popular in pro audio circles for its solid build, recallable parameters and warm analog sound—comparable to era contemporaries like MCI, Amek, or Soundcraft desks.

It’s a classic workhorse  a great console for smaller or starter studios.

This console used to the be the B-Room Board at Kaufman Astoria Soundworks.

The board is flawless except channel 3 needs work. 

I’m not a technician, but I believe the 3rd channel needs an op amp (backup op amps are included) replacement in the preamp section.

Channel 5 is missing a small cap, but the button works.

Comes with:

Complete with eagle automation computer.

2 full sets of each Canari cables/connections and power supply cables. One set is short the other 20+ feet.

Extra power supply backup.

Extra parts such as startup disks, op amps, resistors and capacitors and power cables.

The board has only been in two professional studios.

I’m open to offers and barters, just please keep in mind that the cables alone are worth $1000 since the db 25 have to be custom wired for the board.
