Guitarist Jake Kiszka, founding member of Greta Van Fleet, has established himself as one of the most recognizable voices in contemporary rock. His style, characterized by expressive intensity, dynamic sensitivity, and a strongly personal artistic vision, finds an inseparable companion in his historic 1961 Gibson SG. This bond, built over time, has contributed to defining both his musical language and the identity of the instrument itself.

The Gibson Jake Kiszka SG Standard is born from this deep connection, serving as a direct homage to the legendary 1961 SG. Crafted at Gibson's Nashville headquarters, this limited edition merges tradition with a modern approach, preserving the allure of the guitar that has become a symbol of decades of rock evolution.

The body is entirely constructed from mahogany, a choice that ensures a warm, full response with ample sustain. The neck, also made of mahogany and glued to the body in accordance with Gibson tradition, features a SlimTaper profile, designed to provide fast and comfortable playability across the instrument’s entire range.

The rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 22 Medium Jumbo frets, designed to ensure precision and fluidity.

The electronics consist of a pair of Gibson T-Type pickups, a configuration that guarantees bright highs, great definition, and a precise, articulated dynamic response.

The ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge ensures accurate adjustments of action and intonation, while the Stop Bar tailpiece is concealed beneath a modified Sideways Vibrola cover: a purely aesthetic element that pays homage to Jake's original guitar, while maintaining the stability of a fixed system.

In conclusion, the Gibson Jake Kiszka SG Standard represents a perfect balance between historical legacy and modern needs: a limited edition instrument that encapsulates the essence of rock and the vision of an artist who is influencing a new generation of guitarists.
