ULTRA RARE Audio Developments AD055 ( mastering ) compressor.
In great working condition.
With big SOWTER transformers.
VERY CREAMY AND SOLID compression, made to be very precise/ unobtrusive , but it can pack some punch and slam when pushed!
The SOWTER transformers add a very NEVE-ish flavor.
It works wonders in a mastering chain, and has an unique color which is very hard not to love ❤️, also great on buss-duty’s and single sources, so very versatile!
It does NOT HAVE MAKE UP GAIN!
There are 3 solutions to handle this.
A - if noise is not present / a problem, just push up the fader.
B - add any make up gain device behind this compressor.
C - Have a tech install a make up gain modification.
