The humbucker positioned near the bridge and the active preamp deliver the Stingrayfs signature character: a thick, full-bodied low end and a fast, punchy attack. This particular model dates from the Alnico magnet era, offering a natural sense of compression that isnft overly harsh, along with a rich, resonant tone.

This guitar represents a period following the design established in the late 1990s, offering the same stable build quality and ease of playability found in current models?a key point in its appeal. Its high versatility, suitable for any genre, is a significant advantage for players.
The battery compartment and jack were corroded, so they have been replaced.
While there is some minor dirt and tarnish on the metal, there are no noticeable scratches, and it is in good condition for its age.
